Weedmaps | Museum of Weed
A story of highs and lows.
In an effort to reframe the public consciousness and help end wrongful incarcerations for cannabis-related crimes, Weedmaps, the world’s premiere cannabis technology company, approached Vice to create a history-making project. Naturally, we built a museum. As the sole creative director, I led the build of the The Weedmaps Museum of Weed, a 30,000-square-foot cannabis museum in the heart of Los Angeles, which takes visitors on a chronological walk through the story of cannabis, showcasing both the highs and lows of its controversial past, present and potential future, with immersive exhibits, historical artifacts and art installations, complete with a museum store featuring a full line of branded clothing, merch, and a cafe.
